The children learned that a mother bat uses her sense of smell to find her pup. To demonstrate this idea, we had a "mommy bat" look for her "baby bat," searching for the scent of cinnamon.




Mrs. Molloy, one of the First Grade teachers, was the surprise reader for the 50th day of school!


Happy Thanksgiving!
The children enjoyed sharing what they are thankful for during snack time.

The children worked in small groups to create a structure to hide their turkey from the farmer!

The Star shared his answers (favorite color - red, favorite animal - dog, favorite food - ice cream, favorite story - Curious George, and when he grows up, the Star would like to be a teacher) with the children.

The Second Grade students sang a song, read The Thankful Book by Todd Parr, and shared the ABC's of being thankful!


 Chef Arnav and his sous chef created a healthy and delicious "Fall Tree-T!"


 The children enjoyed creating their own "Fall Tree-ts!"
